South Nagaland replaced Manipur in Hill Districts
Imphal, August 29 : As a part of movement against withdrawal of GOI-NSCN(IM) ceasefire extension beyond Nagaland by GOI, the word South Nagaland have replaced the word of Manipur in various sign boards in hill districts of Manipur. In Senapati districts, the word Manipur has been replaced by the word South Nagaland. Such replacement has been observed in Tamenglong district also. Government officials were remaining as silent spectator to these activities.

Seven houses razed to ground at Moreh
Imphal, August 28 : Seven houses have been razed to the ground at Moreh at 6.45 p.m. yesterday night. The accident was believed to occur from the ignition of the petrol stored inside one of the house. In the fire property worth more than Rupees 20 lakhs have been damaged. Two persons got injury in the fire. They were identified as Kangjam Sanatombi of Haobam Marak, Imphal and Rabi Paridas of Moreh Ward Number 1. They were admitted to the RIMS Hospital in Imphal.
