August 15 : Personnel of 128 BSF stationed Moirang Khunou
Sub station threatened the villagers between Moirang Khunou and
Saiton to repair the road within one day. The move of the BSF
was condemned by the Nganu Leima Lairembi Leirak Development
Association.

Insurgents
arrested
Imphal,
August 15 : Bishnupur district police arrested two activists
of PLA from their houses. They were identified as Sagolsem Munal
of Kodompokpi Mamang Leikai and Laithangbam Ningthemjao of
Bomdiar Manaoching. They were said to be involved in bomb blast
at Malom in 2000. Meanwhile, 21 AR arrested one NSCN activists
and one KNF (MC) from Kangpokpi bazaar.
