Naga
apex bodies appeal against blockade
Imphal,
August 22 : The apex bodies of Naga community, the Naga Hoho
and the Naga Baptist Church Council has appealed to the
supporters of the current indefinite economic blockade on
National Highways to suspend the ongoing economic blockade in
view of the convenience of all communities. In a meeting
participated by representatives of the United Naga Council, the
two bodies conveyed the feelings of the Naga Hoho and NBCC to
the blockade supporters to come in terms and lift the blockade.
According to the apex bodies, economic blockade is certainly not
a Christian activity.
